Since 2013, Simois Ng has been in charge of Sony Hong Kong’s marketing communications department, which consists of online and social media, eCommerce business, advertising and promotions as well as corporate communications. She focuses on formulating the company’s integrated strategies for marketing communications and corporate communications to elevate the brand’s image to a higher level. Before taking up her current role, she was mainly responsible for online and database marketing as well as CRM.
Ng has led her team to win various highly recognised marketing awards. Additionally, she has been invited as a member on judging panels for marketing and public relations contests. She has also attended industry seminars on CSM, retail management, and online content as a guest speaker. She supports knowledge-transfer initiatives of universities.
She also actively promotes and participates in corporate social responsibility activities, including the Unheard City Stories project organised by Sony Hong Kong. This CSR initiative was presented with the “Excellence in CSR” gold award by Marketing magazine in 2018.
